Frequently asked questions
How much does turnkey car import from the USA cost?
The total is made up of the lot price, the auction fee, delivery within the USA and by sea, import duty, excise tax, VAT, certification and customs clearance. Our calculator shows each of these payments, calculated using the same formula as customs, so you can see an estimate before you send a request. A manager confirms the exact figure for a specific lot.
How long does car import from the USA take?
The time is made up of the bidding, delivery to the port, the ocean voyage and customs clearance. Most delays come from title paperwork, not the ocean crossing: the title is the ownership document that the seller prepares after the auction. That is why we name the stages and the status at each of them, not a single date in advance.
Can I import a car from the USA within a set budget?
Yes, the budget is the starting point. We agree on a bid limit that includes delivery and customs clearance and bid only within it. If a lot goes above the limit, we leave the bidding and look for the next one.
Do you import special machinery from the USA turnkey?
Yes, to order — the process is the same as for passenger cars: we agree on the task and budget, search US auctions, show you the lot before bidding, deliver it and clear it through customs. Write in your request what exactly you need, and a manager will tell you whether there are such lots and what the total will be.
What will I see before you place a bid?
Photos and videos of the car’s condition, the lot description with the damage type and title type, the history and a report on the car. You make the bidding decision — with the facts in hand, not after the purchase. You can also send us a lot you found — we will review it the same way.
When and how do I pay for the car?
In parts, as the car goes through the stages: first a $500 deposit, after the auction is won — the car price and the auction fee, 1–2 months later — logistics, and about a week or two after that — customs payments. In practice, payment is spread over 3–4 months. You do not pay for storage at the port — that is our part of the work. If you prefer to pay in equal parts, there is an installment plan.
What if I do not want to wait — can I buy a ready car?
Yes. Some cars are already at our yard in Kyiv at 1a Ronald Reagan St — customs-cleared, with documents, available for inspection and a test drive. Import to order makes sense when the model or trim you need is not in stock.
Can I trade in my old car?
Yes. We appraise your car, help with its re-registration and credit the amount toward the price of the car we import from the USA. You can pay the difference at once or split it into payments.
